Have you tried Windex? My husband works with granite and he recommends it. You really do not need any special expensive product. Also to bring up the shine, use steel wool to shine up your granite.

WD-40....it also has a lot of great uses.....
If it will clean water spots from windows and make them shine and clean a CD that has been scrached then it will clean granite
