I am finding orange spots that looks like came from my rusty dryer. Do I need to buy a whole new dryer?

How old is the dryer?...If it`s not that old I would call the place where you bought it and find out why it is rusting and what they can do about it.....I have never seen one do this, but I have never seen all dryers tho....lol
If it`s really old it might be time to buy another one, you would save more money that way in the long run.....
If there is not a whole lot of rust you might try using steel wool like RED suggested and then rub lots of WD-40 over it

Good Luck

Either buy a new dryer or use steel wool to remove the rust.
If the rust is not on the insde then you may have to remove the outer shell of the dryer to get to the outside of the drum. it might work, and it's cheaper than a new dryer.
