Put your favorite music on...I have heard that there are some Classical music that help with ADD.
Start with one room at a time. and dont leave that room until you are completed with it, try not to get side tracked... I know it`s easier said than done though.
There is a great support group on yahoo for ADD...I know some of them can help you with getting Organized and teaching you different ways to get focused....I will try to find the groups website and get back to this question...
My daughter had ADHD and we have recieved great support and tips from this group.
I sent the link to your e.mail address, I was not sure I needed to post it here..I`m not real sure what the rules are on posting group websites here
Have a blessed day

You know, I don't like doing house cleaning too much either but what I do to help myself stay motivated is to listen to music. I sing out loud and dance a little while I'm washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, etc... As far as organization goes...just start in one room and when that is done go to the next room. Don't spread yourself over several rooms or you will get overwhelmed and lose track of what you're doing. Good luck!

Concentrate on ONE THING AT A TIME. If you have lots to do, do one room at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself with thoughts of it all. Put on some good dance music and before you know it, it will all be done.

Ok make a hundred bucks. Stick it in your pile of laundry. Search for it. While your searching remove each pice of clothing one at a time to search for this 100 dollar bill once you find it theres your motivation than put it back in lol :)

You shouldn't be doing it alone. Do it with someone else and set small tasks for each other. When they're done, set some other small tasks. Baby steps, and you will motivate each other.

Jazzy's solution works for me.
Now, you might try making a check list, and as you finish each item check it off. ANd after you finish with your list, treat yourself to something nice.
Good luck!
