Sorry this question is soooo boring but i'm desperate. Our cream leather suite is absolutely minging and I don't know how to clean it. The dirt has really been ground in. I used a steam cleaner on it and that shifted some of it but it is still filthy. Can anyone help me please? Also, is there anyone that cleans leather suites professionally in the Cornwall area?

I have heard you can use biological powder, has anyone tried it and had good results, or can anyone suggest other household products. Thanks

There are only around ten maggots scattered around the ceiling. I consider myself a very hygienic person and clean my house regularly so have no idea why this has appeared.

At least I think that is the problem. Stains weren't in the clothes before washing. It is darker spots throughout the clothes. I've had this appear on a few articles within the past few months. It is an apartment building machine I use.
Thanks for your help!

My 3 year old got ahold of a black permanent marker last night and drew all over my beige suede sofa. Does anyone know how to remove these black marker stains?

Holy smokes I forgot how much ash a fireplace produces! It's time to clean mine out... we've been in our new house for about 6 months now and I haven't lived in a home with wood heat for many years. Growing up my dad always used a metal bucket that he set outside for a while before he dumped it. I don't have a metal bucket, so I haven't had a fire for over 12 hours to make sure there aren't any hot buds in there. I'm just going to use some grocery sacks, etc but I'm wondering what other people use or if you have any tips/tricks?? Thanks!

The house is clean, but the flies are still sticking around and multiplying. They seem to like the bathroom the most, or atleast that is where the greater quantity of them seem to reside.

How do I get my 5 year old son and husband to help out with the cleaning?
I will clean the whole house and not even 10 minutes later it becomes worst than it was before.
I've tryed going on strike but they don't care.
To keep my home looking good I have to clean about 5 times a day or more.
It's driving me crazy because It's too much work for one person and I am getting worn out...

I hate doing laundry with a passion. I am thinking about doing a wash and fold service every now and then and am trying to figure out whether is a mild luxury or outrageous. So I am trying to figure out for two twentysomethings who go through a fairly conservative amount of clothing (will wear jeans, pajamas more than once before washing) how much would a week of laundry weight? Any other insight into the wash and fold world would be appreciated.

Or should it be dry-cleaned ?
It has no label, as I strongly suspect my husband ripped it off (thanks honey !!) I'm worried about it shrinking/going lumpy etc ....

We don't have a dishwasher, and no matter how much boiling water I pour through, or how long i leave it to soak, I never seem to be able to get rid of the starchy residue that is left behind by the rice/spaghetti etc...

I know I should have been clearning it often so the stain would not have bulit up to a degree that no matter what cleaner I used it just would not work. I have used most of the cleaners in the stores. I even used SOS to scrub it but no use. Help is needed. I am getting to be ashame of myself when guests have to use the bathrooms.
