I would prefer an upright bagless but would really consider anything that can do a good job and won't keep letting me down.
I have had a Dyson Animal but had to keep un-clogging the brush bar.
I have also had a Vax turbo 1700 but although the brush bar doesn't clog up, the brush bar itself keeps siezing up and I have had to replace it twice. Now looking for a replacement that is reliable and efficient and has good powerful cleaning ability. Thanks

All of my dishes have this chalky residue . . . you can actually feel it. My glassware is cloudy. I have a water softener, and it has salt. I can fill my rinse agent dispenser with a rinse agent (which is supposed to last a month), and it empties out in 2-3 washes, so something is not right with that. I have tried using a rinse agent and not using one . . . no difference. To get the chalky stuff out of the dishwasher I used a dishwasher cleaner that I had to run through the cycle when the dishwasher was empty. Worked great . . . but it was all back the very first time I did a load. I am using Kirkland Powder detergent. I appreciate any advice on this one!

The carpet cleaner was from HG passed through a high pressure cold water jet. It's taken 3 days to dry but still the amonia smell is overpowering. I tried tee tree oil with bicarb of soda as a 'natural' treatment but still no luck.

I am looking for some sort of duster with a really long extendable handle, like 15 to 20 feet, to clean the corners of my vaulted ceilings. I found one at Target but it was only like 10 feet and wasnt long enough. If you know a product name or where I could find one, that would be great. Thanks!

I usually use semi-gloss, but I'm not sure how to care for flat paint. Seems that most anything will rub the paint off. Any suggestions?

My silly boyfriend left old milk in the fridge. Over the weekend, the container disintegrated, leaving a horrible sour milk stench. We desperately need to get rid of the smell!

My youngest daughter had a blue crayon in her pants. The pants went into the dryer with the crayon. Now the entire load of clothes has blue stains everywhere. Is there a way to remove the stains and if there is, what's the best solution?

I moved into an older house with an old washing machine. It's probably from the 80's or early 90's. The brand is KitchenAid. It does not have a handwash or delicate cycle--it only offers the normal, permanent press, and quick cycles. How do I wash my delicates without destroying them? Of course, I do not want to handwash eveything.

I checked the KitchenAid website and, no suprise, this model is not sold anymore.

Thanks.

Recently, I purchased three t-shirts. All three of the shirts have developed these little round balls of cotton near the rear-end of the shirt. The other parts of the shirt are okay, except for that one area on all three shirts. I'm thinking it was caused by the bookbag that I use. Perhaps the excessive rubbing of the bookbag on that area caused it.
Does anyone know what I am talking about?
