Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

items needed:
iron
paper towels/brown paper bags
get a paper bag or paper towel and place it over the spot with the wax. Use the heated iron and iron over the location with the wax. The wax will melt and absorb into the paper towel or paper bag. When you see the wax seep through the paper, use a fresh piece.
If the wax left a stain, to the method above and then use a stain remover after the wax is removed.

And now, for the next few moments you can relax, because your carpet will be back to normal in no time. Simply place a paper towel over the wax. Next hold a warm iron over it until the wax softens then, pick off the wax. Repeat if necessary. I recommend using Oranges '95 all purpose cleaner to remove any excess residue, it's great for cleaning carpets.

Lay paper towels down on the dripped wax and put a hot iron on top of the paper towel in between times check the paper towel underneath and see if the wax is coming off the carpet and unto the paper towel. If it gets most of it up then slightly brush it with oxiclean lightly to get the color remains up. LOL

First, let it cool for about two hours and scrape as much as possible with a knife.
Once you have most of it out and cannot get the rest, use an iron on medium over a paper towel to melt the wax and wick it into the towel. Repeat as necessary, but do not leave the iron on the paper towel too long, it could catch fire.

Try using a spray bottle with hot water-spray the area and use something to loosen the wax from the carpet. Or, dampen a towel and lay it over the area and run a hot iron over the towel. With the towel method, remember not to let the iron touch the carpet..... It will surely melt! Good Luck!

Chill the wax with an ice cube and scrape it off with a butter knife.
Cover the drops with a paper towel or brown paper bag, and gently run a warm iron over the spot. Start with a fairly low temperature and keep checking and increasing as you go along.
One or both of these should do the trick.

Okay, this sounds so crazy but it works. Take a facecloth or towel (depending on the size of the spot) and get it totally drenched in HOT water. Put the towel/facecloth on the spot hold down. Once the towel/facecloth cools, you should be able to lift the softened wax off the carpet. If it is still too solid, you can pour boiling water directly on the spot.

First, remove any bigger chunks of wax with your fingers, scrape it with something and vacuum to get rid of the bulk of it.
As for the rest of the spot, put a paper towel on it, and a medium-heat iron on top. Wait for a minute until wax melts and soaks into the towel. Replace the towel and repeat as necessary.
Finish by scrubbing with some detergent and a brush.
Good luck!
