The house is clean, but the flies are still sticking around and multiplying. They seem to like the bathroom the most, or atleast that is where the greater quantity of them seem to reside.

IF you can find the source of the flies, use Balsamic vinegar. Pour it onto the source and leave it for 10-15 minutes then bag it and toss it. T collect the litle devils that are left in the air, mix a bit of honey and water together in a can and leave it sit out. They will collect in there really quickly. Alternately use a fly stipe found in hardware stores that are just sticky stipes in a coil.

There seems to be an influx of the flies this year, no matter how clean the house is.

We used regular vinnigar with a bit of lemon dish soap in it. Took 2 days and all were drowned.

I've heard you should take a few slices of apple and place them in a mason jar. Then take a piece of paper and roll it into a funnel and place into the jar. The flies go through the large opening to get the apple, but then can't get back out.

I just tried putting out a small bowl of apple cider vinegar and let it sit. The flies almost dive into the stuff and of course that's the end for them.

Take a small glass, put in some apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. They are attracted to the vinegar, but the soap traps them. Good luck!
