Typically you only find maggots on decaying flesh, although I don't think you have a dead body hidden somewhere nearby. It's possible that something you had thrown in the trash attracted flies who then laid their eggs. If this is the case, just make sure to take out your trash regularly (especially when throwing away food) and possibly invest in a bug bomb.
The fact that you found them on the ceiling is worrysome, as they may actually be termite larva. If you can capture one of them you may want to go online and compare it to photographs of maggots and termite larva. If they're termites you'll want to get the pros in there immediately!

I haven't had an appetite pretty much this entire pregnancy.... I haven't thrown up at all either but I have had some pretty severe nausea, of which returned about a week and a half ago. Sunday was good for me, I was able to eat and had an appetite all day, but otherwise I haven't been able to eat mostly until about suppertime. So the "sickness" returned for me at about 36weeks. Some women are SO unfortunate to experience it all pregnancy, maybe your just having a bit of an "off" time (fingers crossed lol). I had absolutely NO sickness or nausea while pregnant with my daughter.....Actually had I not developed a nice growing belly I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant with her -- I had no symptoms. Well this time around I don't know what we're having so I can't tell you if I'm experiencing sickness while pregnant with a boy or another girl....will be able to let you know within the next few weeks though!

do you live in a flat? what is above the ceiling? maggots are cleaned just by removing them but they dont appear from nowhere - there has got to be something dead nearby.

It sounds like it could be moth maggots at this time of year. Try looking at your local pest control website - they may have hints on how to get rid of them or may suggest fumigation if you can't get rid of them yourself.
