Well, mopping is always a good thing. =]
haha, but, the Swiffer mopper for wood floors is the best! That's what I use for my parquet floor.
Or you can get the Swiffer sweeper, and buy the Mopping pads for it, that works just as well too.
(I really like swiffer products, they work VERY well)
But, you can also try Mr Clean products, they work well too.

Use Murphy's Wood Oil Soap. This is the best stuff. Murphy's also has additional products to help restore the shine. Good Luck.

you can go to Home Depot and get the Bruce hardwood floor cleaner , works great ! Does not leave the floor slick

Wash it good, and then wax it with several coats of a synthetic wax like mop n glow. The more wax the better it will look.

You can add vinegar in waterand wash floor. It is safe and made floor shine like new.
