I have a scented candle that has been sitting in its jar in a closet for over a year. It was put away after only being a burned and melted down a bit. Will it still have its scent if I burn it now, and is it even safe to burn still? The reason I ask about being safe is it seems to have gotten a little soft while in storage, a little spongy-like. I think the warmth of the closet may have affected it.

I have tried bi carb soda, baking powder and vinegar. Have also heard that you could use bleach but that seems unhealthy. Any ideas anyone?

Modest home, in North Dakota. House faces the street and back has an alley. Garage is in the back of the house, I have a good size deck but no yard to speak of. There is about six to eight feet between me and my neighbors to the left and the right of my house. There is about 40 feet of front yard. Right now I have an ash tree in the front yard, and grass. I think the ask tree will grow too big for the space. I need lots of ideas! I'm trying to get some curb appeal.

My furnace is a gas hot water system. Lately when it comes on I can hear some water running in the baseboards . It does it for maybe 2 minutes. Seems to be heating ok but wondered if this is normal?

I am working on something important today and I just need to know what are the houses of poor people in medieval times made of. I need to know about the roof and especially the walls and doors. If there is any image available, I would also appreciate that. Thank you.

We recently installed a new corner shower unit ( 3 pieces) and used a GE silicone kitchen/bath caulk. The caulk has begun splitting and cracking and it's leaking all over the place. Any ideas of what type of caulk to use to ensure our adhesion to the tub and the shower floor are durable? Also, when pressure is added to the floor or base of the unit, it too leaks. The drain in the middle, could that be siliconed as well to ensure the weight of the "showerer" is not causing the compression of the shower floor to allow for water to leak?>

Thanks!

What is a good way to plant them? just scatter them out into a big bed or in rows or bunches? I live right on the gulf coast it is 8pm rightnow and 70 degrees out side so I think it will be ok to go ahead and plant and maybe the bugs wont eat up the greens.

We just moved into our new home about 4 months ago. We have a GE Profile Built in Microwave. There is a metal square "plate" on the right side wall of the microwave. Somehow it has gotten a small hole in it and whenever we turn on the microwave, there are major sparks. Do you think I need a new microwave (which is about $450 new ) or do you think this is repairable by sears? I don't want to waste a $60 home service fee if I need to just get a new one. Thanks!!

I am also a mother so I NEED a microwave for bottles and quick lunches.

I was sitting on the couch and noticed two little worm like things crawling on the back of my couch! I dont see how they could be maggots because my apartment is clean. I dont have anything dead laying around and my house doesn't smell. The only thing I can think of is if one of my kids lost some food down the couch like crumbs but I still dont think that would be enough for maggots? HELP!!!! I'm so grossed out and dont know what to do!

I want to take a hanging lamp and connect it directly to the ceiling so that it works with the light switch. I want to know if I cut the plug off and hook it to the wires in the ceiling? Do I need a grounding wire? Will there be one in the cable?

I need a good honest answer, preferably from one who has the experience and knowledge first-hand. I also need this information based on a new modeled mobile home; not an older one. I would also like to know the average cost of a newer mobile home of a dealer's lot. I live in the Midwest region. Thanks! :)
