I have tried bi carb soda, baking powder and vinegar. Have also heard that you could use bleach but that seems unhealthy. Any ideas anyone?

Use salt.
Rinse the cup so the salt has something to stick to, then sprinkle generous amounts of salt where the stains are.
Just use your fingers to rub the salt into the stains.
The salt will turn brown so just rinse well with water.
The first time I tried this method I was amazed at how clean my cups were and it's much healthier than using bleach!

Fine Bone China Tea Sets

I filled the fine bone china cup with "Resolve" laundry spray. My coffee stains seeped beneath the surface starting at the bottom and gradually creeping upward, embedded.
Nothing else worked. Not bleach, oxegen bleach, peroxide...
Is it possible to seal the cup s surface to stop future embedded staining?

Carefully tap around the base of the cup with a hammer. This will work loose most of the embedded stain so it can be lifted out by normal washing or bi-carbonate of soda.

Use poly-dent tablets, they're denture cleaners just fill the cups with hot water and add half a denture tablet.

DO NOT US BLEACH! especially not if it's fine, fine bone china. Bleach isn't a great thing long term

Try using Magic Eraser sponge.

Just wet the bottom of your teacup and use the sponge dry.

The sponge will work wonders with just a little water.

I use this method all the time. It cleans coffee stains too.

Bleach is bad only if you ingest it. soak it in bleach and water overnight and rinse well. I use bleach all the time with my cups, I'm fine.
