Wanting to get a round tuffed, fringed ottoman, and use as a coffee table. What do others think?

It is 43' diameter, very tight. I would be using a tray on it.

Love it. Have one. Most used piece of furniture in my home. Works as a coffee table when the tray is on it. Foot rest when no one is around and as extra seating when too many people are around.

A round, tufted ottoman would make a difficult table given it's shape and the fact they are usually small. Flat ottomans are best suited to tables. They can handle a tray where you would be able to set drinks or serve appetizers.
