You know, the (usually, I think?) white ... siding!!! I can't think of how to describe it. It's the stuff that keeps you from seeing under the trailer.

I forgot the name of it. =] And if it really is called siding, I'm going to feel really stupid ....

right bit of a strange one lads, but would you feel confident painting a car, now obviously im not talking getting your Purdy out, but if you have used sprayers on jobs over the years do you think you could do it, I mean in principle its the same, do your prep, rub down, filler, primer, flatten off blah blah blah, im a time served painter and have used sprayers on jobs allot, and don’t want to pay out 3 or 4 grand for a paint job., so lads am I nuts or do you think it’s a go’er, I know your average joe with no experience has done it but would you have a go

I have a large home but only 2 people. after 10 minutes the hot water is not gone but I can no longer make it hotter. I flushed the system recently and it seems as though that was not the issue. I would think that I could take a shower for an hour and not have a problem as I am having. It is 10 years old.

I just moved into my new appartment about 2 months ago and for a while i have noticed wierd things going on,downstairs is the kitchen and living room and it is all tiled, when i walk on certain tiles (not everywhere) some of them are very hot, if im quickly walking across it i wont notice but if im standing still i can really feel it getting hot, there is no under tile heating, nothing else that can explain the heat under the tiles, its very weird if u ask me...what else could it be...

i just bought a house which is in very good shape, it has been raining for the last two days and now the pipe where the dirty water goes into from the washer is taking its time in draining out, it didn't happen before,we have a regular sewage system, not septic tank, what would that cause of this?

My husband and I were in the process of trying to get a home loan to buy our first house. The home is a two story house that was built in 1890. We were going to be paying $50,000 for it. It burned a few days ago distroying the kitchen, bathroom, utility room and doing some damage to the living room. All of the rest of the rooms have smoke damage. The insurance company will be restoring it back to its original state. Their estimate is that it will take $150,000 plus labor to fix. Does anyone have any idea what this will do to its value?

I have a very light grey brick ranch-style house. There is very little wood...just the underpart of the roof that sticks out and some wood trim that is underneath my picture window. However, I do not like the color of the wood, which is a slate blue/grey. It's kind of boring, but I don't know what other color I should use that will match the light grey color of the brick. I don't want anything too wild...just something more interesting. Any ideas?

Sometimes when I wash dishes there is almost like sandlike granular material on my dishes. I buy Jet Dry but I was told that is to prevent water stains on dishwashers. How can I clean it out? Someone said a cup of vinegar once a month? Please help!
