I keep one on my kitchen table, but not my dining room. I change the kitchen one often. I buy fabric remnants at the fabric store, hem them and turn them into beautiful, original, tablecloths. I change them according to the season, so right now I have one with leaves on it.

Not anymore, but I used to have a blue woven tablecloth. (Imagine a denim blue color with a thick weave) There was a ochre cloth napkin (same weave) that I laid out in the middle and placed a vase of flowers on. I've moved to placemats though.
