What color goes with dark blue?? my bathroom walls are dark blue and I can't seem to find the perfect color to match the walls. I was thinking yellow (mustard) for the towels and rug & chrome for the wastebasket and soap dispenser.
I also want to add color accents to the wall.

I am trying to remove a border from the top of my living room wall but it is not coming off easily.
Is there an easier way. I soaked it using hot hater and soap, let it set and tried to scrap/ peel it off. It comes off in small peices and there is a lot of little bits that won't come off.
Help!!
Am I missing an easier way?
Something i don't have to run out and buy because I want to get it done tonight after my daughter goes to bed in a few hours.

I bought both of them about 4 years ago. They're both in great working condition, still looks rather new, and have never been repaired. I can't even recall how much i paid for them. I called up Kenmore, and they suggested about 600 together, and told me that model numbers don't really mean much; they were just giving me reasonable estimates to sell them for.

Any suggestions on whether this would be a fair price?

I have a piece of land and would like to start self building a house. What i am interested the most is how to dig for foundation, build it and then raise the walls. The rest is not such a big problem. But I would like to do it by my own. Thanks

The previous occupants put up some decorative fixtures on the outside walls, and I want to take them down for burning. Some of the screws are too stiff for me to turn however- is there any quick and easy way to loosen them up?

Is something blowing out from wherever the heat takes the air from? Is it dust or mold or some fungus I am getting sick to? I wake up with urge to cough and stuff comes up but I can only swallow it-yuck. I don't have a runny nose nor a sore throat. I just keep coughing up mucus. Why! I don't think I am infected with a virus or bacteria at all. Could some allergen be blowing out?

The plumber was just here replacing our hot water heater. He said it would take a few hours before we had hot water, but i turned on the faucet just to see. The cold water is fine, but when i turn on the hot water, it sputters and hisses and i can feel air coming out of the faucet. Is this normal? I am worried something didn't get reconnected right. I know I could just call and ask, but I don't want to make a big fuss if its not a big deal. Thanks for your help!

Half the people I talk to say I should wait til spring, the rest say that it's almost better to plant now so the seed can take in the moisture from the snow that we will get this winter and get a good start.

The bulb in my bathroom is out and I need to change the bulb. Unlike other come lights I've seen, there are no screws holding the glass dome in place and I can't unscrew anything. I can move the glass significantly from side-to-side but it is still firmly in place. What do I do so I don't break it?

Hello there,
Any experts out there could advise me on timber a small platform and roof to build my own bird station, as I find bird tables for sale in shops look ver well, but the roofs are too high and the crows and magpies can go in and scoff all the food.
Anybody in Wexford, Ireland would build one for me?????
Thanks

I'm building a bridge out of balsa wood and need to arch the top piece. I already have a thick wood cutout of how i want the arch to be shaped. Question is, how do i steam the balsa wood with enough heat to form it permanently. Someone suggested getting rags piping hot in water, then pressing the rags on the balsa wood. (sandwhiching the balsa wood between my wood cutout and the rags.) any other ideas. I have no clue.

Thanks!!

We have just bought a ceramic hob/fan oven as our house has been rewired. My partner wants to connect it himself (im scared!!)... he says he can just cut the wires off the old cooker -which is currently connected - and wire them into the new one (there is a proper cooker plug there)... but is this safe? i would have thought the new cookers own cable needed to be connected to the wall! any advice is much appreciated as i dont want him to blow the house up!
