I am trying to remove a border from the top of my living room wall but it is not coming off easily.
Is there an easier way. I soaked it using hot hater and soap, let it set and tried to scrap/ peel it off. It comes off in small peices and there is a lot of little bits that won't come off.
Help!!
Am I missing an easier way?
Something i don't have to run out and buy because I want to get it done tonight after my daughter goes to bed in a few hours.

try using a BLow dryer heating it may help andIf the adhesive is stubborn, you might have to resort to dampening the paper with white vinegar, which is a solvent for the glue.

that's elementary and decrease priced to eliminate the boarder, as long using fact the wall had a coat of paint on it in basic terms before you putting it up. If this became into those days positioned up, that is probably to be a 2 piece boarder, which potential vinyl ideal, paper backing. no be counted if that's, in basic terms peel of the vinyl ideal section leaving the paper caught to the wall, then get a twig bottle and fill it with warm water. Soak the paper backing a minimum of two situations to loosen the glue in basic terms before scraping it off with a flexible putty knife. be careful however, the wall is moist so the putty knife will dig into the Sheetrock in case you do no longer take a while. no be counted if that's a a million piece boarder, get a Paper Tiger at your close by paint keep and a few Diffs wallpaper remover and do the comparable with the putty knife.

2 things. If the wall wasn't prepared properly, you've got a real job. Second, if it's vinyl paper, peel off the vinyl part and soak the backing with hot water and fabric softener. It should just wipe off after soaking.
