I have dark brown walls in my family room and I want to frame the family pictures. What color should I use? i tried black but it doesn't look good because the room is dark. Any suggestion?

Depending on what other accent colors you have in the room, I would say to choose a light blue. If this won't work with your couch and furniture, choose a light shade from the upholstery in one of them.

I like lite blues or greens with brown. If you want to do metallic try bronze gold or even a pewter color.
