I have a painting I found in a old house how do I sell it.

They were talking about things that are ghetto on a radio talk show this morning and they said toliet seat covers are...the ones that match the rest of the bathroom.

This lady about broke her neck looking at my clothes I have hanging out on the line today. She was driving by my house and looked up and suddenly stared and stared until I thought she was going to have a wreck. She did not see me sitting in the shade about 40 feet away. I was just wondering if she thought It was strange. Do you look at peoples clothes on the line and what do you think when you see them? Today I hung out 5 pajamas and a whole bunch of socks and cotton bikini underwear. I do it not to gain attention, but because I am cheap and trying to save money. I usually hang out towels and wash clothes one day, then jammies and underclothes the next and uniforms the next day until I cycle back into my bed linens usually about 1 time a week.

I have a concrete pad behind my appartment but were not aloud to use pressure washers...it has black dots on it and i'm thinking that it's mold. How to I remove it?

They come in chips and whole nuts out the side of my lawn mower and I am afraid one will come out and knock me out. I live in a rural area and I am sure the squirrels will need these to eat this winter. Should I pick them up in to a pile or should I leave them and just keep mowing over em? Can you think of an easy way to pick them up?

Hi, just got a bill for installation of two new electric sockets, one which was underneath a worktop and one inside big kitchen cupboard. The work took just under an hour and i have been charged £176.25 for this....I phoned another electrician when i got this bill and they quoted about £40. Is there anyone out there with knowledge of this and how much you would consider reasonable???

The previous wearer of my daughter's soccer uniform didn't wash it before turning it in to the school last year. Now I'm faced with a filthy uniform. It has sweat, mud and grass stains on it. I have used bleach (not recommended for the fabric), Shout, and a detergent paste. It is less noticable, but still dirty. Help!

We are installing ceramic tile on a substrate that has some adhesive residue, carpet was glued to a contrete floor. The carpet has been removed but there is still some adhesive residue on the concrete. Is it necessary to scrape off the adhesive before applying thinset? Will the tiles lift if we dont?

I re-washed them all several times but there is this weird smell to them, I've tried different detergents, adding a little bleach and even all kinds of dryer sheets, is there any way to get the smell out or do I have to buy all new clothes and towels???

I am a first time gardener, and I have some idea of what to do...but I don't know if I need to make any preperation for drying, or if I should hang dry stalks. I realy need some help because I can't find any answers in herb books.

i see all these commercials for places like Big Lots..has anyone gotten anything good from there? i was just wondering if they have decent stuff or if its all just poor quality junk? im looking for places to get stuff to decorate my new apartment but im on a college student budget...ive hit up walmarts and targets but nothing really got my interest..i went to jordans furniture (mainly to fantasize and put that , tips or hidden gems they would like to share with me? :) i want to decorate on a budget..a tight budget lol

I have seen small, white bugs in the bathroom. They are about the size of a grain of salt and are around the window and bathroom tile. I bleached the tub but they are still there. Any ideas what they are? or how to get rid of them?

I moved into my partner's condo unit. It is directly under another unit. I've never met them,but I understand that a mother with two teenage (Goth) kids live there and a building directly across from our unit... The father lives there. The den where my pc is faces the side of that building. Only in one particular electrical outlet does a power surger's light "flicker" nowhere else. I had to put in a new pc motor because the power supply was so weak coming from the outlet. I hear wierd noises within the walls upstairs... I'd like to learn or hire someone if somenone is playing with the wires.

I have ants. There is a stream of them both entering and exiting my house at a point where my siding meets some masonry. I'm afraid they might be nesting inside the house and want to determine if that is indeed the case. Any advice, help, methods of treatment that people can offer is appreciated.

i just bought a very expensive bra from victoria secret and i dont want it to get ruined in the wash...my grandmother said to stick it in a towel or pillowcase and wash it with my regular clothes and not to dry it and my stepmother said to hand wash it...which causes bras to get distorted, dented and overall destroyed..is it the wash or the dryer or both? if i hand wash it with regular detergant is that ok or should i use the woolite delicate wash soap...please help..i dont want to have just wasted $80 :( thanks
