Best way I know is this. Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time . See how much you can do in this short amount of time. Don´t switch you computer off , you will need it shortly. Ready? Go. All dirty clothes in a pile next to the bedroom door along with any other thing´s that do not belong in your room. Never waste time taking thing´s back to their rightful places until you have finished. All clean clothes to the closet , hang up your skirts, jean´s jumper´s , fold your top´s . OOPS. don´t forget the shoes from under the bed. STOP. Now sit down and have a rest , come back to your computer , ask or answer a few more Q, But if you think you would rather carry on , then do the same again . Set your clock for another 15, min´s and carry on the same way.15, min´s does´t sound a lot but you will surprise yourself as to how much work you can do in this short time. After all , you don´t want to be stuck indoors whilst the sun is shining outside . DO YOU

I would first get all the junk off the floor so you dont break legs while trying to walk threw it.... Place all the junk in basket to sort dirt clothes in the humper, clean clothes in the dresser doors, stuff that broken throw it away. Next i would dush my dresser with furiture polish.. Clean the top of the DVD player and TV with glass cleaner. Last but not aleast but not lease if you have not use it in the past month throw it away...

Take all the clutter from the floor, under your bed, table tops etc place them in the middle of your bed.
Dust & Wipe down the surfaces, light switches, walls, window sills, drawers etc.
Vacuum the floor and any other furnishings that need it, curtains, chair etc.
Then get three baskets.
One for your dirty washing. One for all the things that need to be returned to other places in the house. One for stuff that needs throwing out.
Once you've sorted everything into the three baskets, whats left should be returned to the right places in your room.
Take the rubbish/recycling & goodwill stuff out.
Put your laundry in the wash
Return all the other items to their various homes.

Start with your "Hot Spots" the area which seems to get hit by the mess the most. Work your way out from there.

Dresser drawers.
Closets.
Bed and bedding (sheets,blankets,pillows etc.)
Ceiling
Walls and trim
Windows
Floors (hardwood,carpet etc.)
You can clean any pictures or things on your walls when you do the windows and then replace them when all else is done.
