This lady about broke her neck looking at my clothes I have hanging out on the line today. She was driving by my house and looked up and suddenly stared and stared until I thought she was going to have a wreck. She did not see me sitting in the shade about 40 feet away. I was just wondering if she thought It was strange. Do you look at peoples clothes on the line and what do you think when you see them? Today I hung out 5 pajamas and a whole bunch of socks and cotton bikini underwear. I do it not to gain attention, but because I am cheap and trying to save money. I usually hang out towels and wash clothes one day, then jammies and underclothes the next and uniforms the next day until I cycle back into my bed linens usually about 1 time a week.

I should clarify, I live in a really rural area. We have less than 750 people here and I can look out past my back yard and see cows grazing in the pasture approx 1/4 mi away. .

yes I pay attention to the way people hang out their clothes especially if it's tacky looking. When I hang out my laundry I put the towel together, I put everything together (like the shirts that match the shorts) that way when I take down the laundry I fold them at the line. I live in a rural area as well. If I do hang out underwear I hang them on the middle line where they can't be seen. I love hanging out clothes, love the way they smell when dried..

No because I live in apartments and people don't hang clothes out on the line and you ask alot of silly questions sometimes.

People don't see clothes hanging on lines everyday. I'm thirty years old and probably have only seen it twice in my life time. I'm a city girl. I wouldn't think it was unusal in the country.
Tip - no streaks in your undies please!!! You'll have everyone looking even the cows. LOL

I don't look at other peoples clothes but I could understand someone looking at your underware and wondering why yoiu would hang them on line

I haven't seen anybody hang out laundry in forever! In some places, it's actually prohibited now. As they say - go figure.

You know my kid hate it when I hang their underwear. It's funny to me. You do what you have to and if people don't like, well just don't have to look.....

i love when people hang their clothes on lines.. it is very european old school. undies and other personal stuff look weird

depending on where you live. do other ppl do it? if they dont maybe thats why she was STARRING.i live in the city and i would think its strange if ppl hung their clothes out where many ppl would see it
