We just moved into a new house and tried to use the dishwasher for the first time last night...it goes through all of the cycles fine and washes the dishes good, but it leaves a puddle of water at the bottom once it's done. How do I fix this so it'll drain right?

Whe I try to switch to FAN only mode, I hear a click but the ac fan never turns ON. Can I do some check/repair or do I have a bad thermostat. Please help.

I just moved into a new apartment in Chicago after living in a building that had a roach problem. Now, in my new place, I've noticed that we have a noticeable mouse issue. There are mouse droppings in the drawers and a few nights ago, they chewed a hole in a ziplock bag that contained a sage stick. My roommate and I want to get rid of them, but we are worried that setting out mousetraps with food in them would attract roaches and we don't want to go through that hell again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My father has an antique projector. He found the manual for it, and apparently, it was printed in December of 1954 by the U.S. Army Department. Currently, he has it wrapped up in saran wrap - causing the book to be slightly bent, and both the projector and manual are outside in our storage shed, in the Southern U.S. heat. Also, if you could, can you estimate the value of the projector, and how do we keep the projector in good condition?

I was going to purchase Aluminum plant ID tags due to the sun in S. Fla. Then I saw a web site that talked about making your own with soda can's. I did cut up the tags and they look great however they say to write on them with ball point pen to make a depression that will last forever. I find them awfly hard to write on. Anyone have any sugggestions? Are the Aluminum ID tags you purchase easier to write on?

One night I found this weird bug thing. Here's a description of it:

*Was in my light
*Brown
*Shaped like a "T"
*When it flew away it looked like a moth
*It was night
*Had something that looked like a stinger on its vertical body.

What the heck is this thing????

I have ant problems in my kitchen. I am the most anal when it comes to keeping my kitchen cleaned.

I went to get my 2 year old lunch and they were swarming the stove. Funny thing is that there were no where else just the stove, not the floors, counters or anywhere but the stove.

I have no ideas where they are coming from. I spray'd them and cleaned it up. Went to the store came back and I found 4 more crawling around. ANy ideas.

Power went out of my house and we just had it restored, though now the water is no longer running. We called the people who installed our pump and they told us they would need to dig up the well which is going to cost $1500. However i remember a time before where this happened and all we needed to was reset the switch. Do you think these ppl are trying to get me for my money? Does anyone know if there is a less expensive way?
