Hi - I have a small apt and am always trying to make it smell good - The girl before me had a dog and sometimes it smells like a wet dog in here. Besides candles? Are there any unique idea's? I know someone who's home smells so good all the time - and all of her stuff smells just like her house.I know this sounds weird. Her house smells like Fresh Linen or something..I want that!!

I want to have a brighter, and more colorful bedroom than I have currently. Now it's shades of blue and my room is small so it looks dark. I am going to get this comforter ( http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?ItemID=1069022&GrpTyp=ENS&CmCatId=SearchResults|SearchDepartment ) . I was thinking of doing half the wall with this wallpaper ( http://www.decoratetoday.com/products/wallpaper/product_detail.asp?prid=1052110&cart=1&ptn=AB31068&Cartquantity=2&ref=1&Scrm=0&stype=&flagback=False&si=4&ref=1 ) and then doing the other half .... a color. I'm not sure what one, do you have any ideas?

We just moved and are in the process of selling our old house. We've got the garage about half packed with items to get rid of. Planned on having a yard sale but then someone today mentioned that they always just donate their stuff to GoodWill, get a receipt and then write off the donation on their taxes. Hmmm... I'd never thought of that. Now, say I dontated and got a receipt for say $600, how much of this would I actually be getting back at tax time? We've got a lot of stuff to get rid of, just about all the furniture and kitchen items, plus a ton of kids toys.

i have noticed when ive come home the last couple of nights that on my living room carpet there seems to be a type of silvery type of thread on the floor, at first i thought it was a snail trail or something but it is very fine and disappears straight away if you wipe it away - its not sticky. weird question on know but can anyone help ???

Those are 3 pictures of the tree, tree trunk, and tree leaves.
It would be about 3 feet tall if it were standing up. I want to know if it will stand up better if I trim it back.

i am planning on maybe building a raised garden box. I don't want to go through all that trouble just to feed the raccoons. What vegetables would raccoons not be interested in? Pumpkins, Lettuce, eggplant?

I am not interested in poisons, traps, or urban myths about ceyanne pepper. I am looking to avoid the situation all together.

Oh, I live in Indiana if that makes a big difference.

I went to Medellin Colombia, some years ago, and saw some HUGE sunflowers... I left and had someone get a bag of some seeds together to bring them for me to give to my mother since she loves sunflowers, they are her favorite.

Does anyone know where I can buy these type of sunflower seeds here in the US? The friend that was supposed to bring the bag got stopped by customs and supposedly didn't allow him to bring them in the country, I got sooo pissed!!

The flower itself was as large as a human face, and get soo heavy you need to tie them to something to have them stand up... supposedly they use those flowers to feed cows in Colombia... I don't intend on doing a trip anytime soon, advice such as variety or any other info that can help me track the flower down is appreciated!!

Everything in our fridge keeps freezing: half gallons of OJ, gallons of milk, heads of lettuce, everything in the vegetable/fruit drawers. We have turned it down to its lowest setting. Why is it doing this? What can we do? Will turning down the freezer help?

My air conditioning is leaking water and I know that's normal. Where it is leaking, the ground is getting quite wet and moldy. I guess my question is this; if I put about 3 or 4 onches of rock where the draining is, will that help with the mold or will it make it worse? I'm trying to put in a garden over in that area and I don't want mold on everything. Thanks!
