turn the air screw all the way in, back it out 1 and 1/2 turns
the gas flow screw should be 2 to 3 turns out, adjust from this when it starts, dont set it too lean [more air than gas]
it will over heat ,

Turn the air/fuel mix screws in till they bottom ( gently so wont damage tips/seat) - initally turn out 1 1/2 turns- should be able to start the tractor. Adjust the fuel mix screw out till the motor stutters, then back in till it smooths out. Thats it - i dont mess with the air one.
