I want to have a brighter, and more colorful bedroom than I have currently. Now it's shades of blue and my room is small so it looks dark. I am going to get this comforter ( http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?ItemID=1069022&GrpTyp=ENS&CmCatId=SearchResults|SearchDepartment ) . I was thinking of doing half the wall with this wallpaper ( http://www.decoratetoday.com/products/wallpaper/product_detail.asp?prid=1052110&cart=1&ptn=AB31068&Cartquantity=2&ref=1&Scrm=0&stype=&flagback=False&si=4&ref=1 ) and then doing the other half .... a color. I'm not sure what one, do you have any ideas?

LOVE IT! GO for it! You got great taste of style....are you an interior designer?

I think the color will make the room look more alive and bright (fun too). So, in my opinion...GO FOR IT!

Try the same wallpaper in a different shade - the ivory of the bedding is not the color of the yellow paper.
Try painting or papering the walls without windows in coral, like the bedding; and the wall[s] with windows in ivory, aqua,or lime.
Add the coral drapes - your room is bright and pretty!

I assume you are talking about doing a chair rail type thing with the wall paper? I would recommend taking a swatch of the wallpaper to your local hardware store and ask them to color match that butter yellow color or to color match the off white looking color that is in the wallpaper.

That would look really sharp.

Good Luck with what ever you choose.

take the wall paper with you when you choose the paint color . I would go with either the light green or the light blue, either one I think would look good with the yellow in the paper..good luck with your choice.
