Problem with bbq NEED help!?

I attached my bbq to a butane gas bottle. It just went right on. There's no release switch that I can find. How do I take it off?
Please help!

Would it help to know it's an interlock?

sounds like you have a screw on tank type small bottle,
it should just Unscrew, theres a valve inside the bbq line to stop the flow of gas looks like a long pin, it,s a safty valve,
