Spray it liberally with undiluted white distilled vinegar. Then use a toothbrush to rub it out. Blot with a towel.

Try Spray Nine brand cleaner. It is proven to remove light rust & is safe for carpets (except wool).

might try some C.L.R. calcum,lime ,rust remover,
check to see if you have something Under the carpet causing this,
or call a carpet cleaning service, co.and ask,

Borox is the most unappreciated cure all in the market. Most house hold cleaners are modeled after this detergent, stain remover, and house hold do everything. Good luck!

you can buy hydroflouric acid, rust remover, at most stores that sell cleaning supplies. We sell it for about $5 for a 500 mL bottle
