I've got a hornets nest in my back yard about the size of my head. The hornet spray I bought directs me to spray the hole, which is usually on the bottom. Well...in order to do that, I'd have to sit right underneath it, as it is only at waist level, hanging from a bush.

No thanks.

Anyone have any suggestions? My only vantage point puts me in their kill zone.

We have a very rough looking tile floor in our bathroom, it's cracked in several places. We'd like to lay laminate tiles over the tile. 1) is this possible (we're not worried about taking it up to get to the tile) 2) how should we best prepare the ceramic tile to lay the laminate?

thank you!

I live in S. CA and have quite a huge banana tree which has now for the second year fruits. Last year I cut off the bananas while they were still green and thought they would ripen anyway, but they tasted horrible! When is the best time to cut of the fruits?

if so how? do i turn off the water? should i flush it? i have two toilets that have always been sensitive but it seems they are both backing up more frequently. does that mean its further down the line and i should just call a plumber? any advice to help save me money is appreciated, as i am totally ignorant of plumbing stuff and don't want to be taken advantage of.

What colour kitchen/granite should i choose? It's a choice between cream shaker units with either cream or stainless steel rangemaster cooker & matching american fridge freezer with venition gold or galaxy black granite worktops. Or light oak shaker units with stainless steel rangemaster cooker plus matching american fridge freezer with galaxy black granite work tops? Good size kitchen, floor will be light wood. Thank you.

-- I'll lose the kitchen appliances, the bedrooms, and the air conditioning; but I'll still have power in the bathrooms, and the washer/dryer work. The circuit breaker box is not warm and none of the breakers are tripped. If I start the dryer, the rest of the power comes back on. What do you think?

I have central heating radiators. I had my boiler worked on and they worked good the first day. Now they are just cold and don't do anything. All the pipes are cold. They have 2 valves on them. I have bled the system multiple times and still nothing. Now that it is going to be getting cold soon, I need them to be working. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

What do you like about the ones you go back to?
Did you go there with your parents as a kid?
What would make you never go back?
Can a commercial make you try a new garden center, what would?

Am I cheating, asking more than one question, even though they're related?
