Why do you go to the Garden Center?
To buy plants, pots, gardening tools, and etc.
What do you like about the ones you go back to?
It is big and bright with lots of clerks to answer questions.
Did you go there with your parents as a kid?
No.
What would make you never go back?
If it closed.
Can a commercial make you try a new garden center, what would?
Yes, a commercial would get me to try other gardening centers as well. I often go to more than one place. Just like when you buy clothes, you don't buy everything in one store.

I love plants and I go back to the same ones because of the quality and variety of the plants. My parents did not go to garden centers when I was growing up, I don't think there were any. For me never to back to a garden center, maybe if they started selling poor quality plants. I will say I like Lowe's better than Home Depot because of the layout of the stores. Home Depot seems confusing and Lowe's seems logical,if that makes any sense. I do not think that a commercial could encourage me to go to a different one.

I did not go with my parents to garden centers when I was a kid, but I love to go as an adult. I learn so much there, the nursery staff helps diagnose plant problems, helps me choose the appropriate plant for my conditions and educates me about the plants, mulch, tools, fertilizers, etc. I buy from them. I love seeing the plantings they do and it gives me ideas as to what plants look good together. A commercial that showed fountains, containers and tons of plants would be all that is necessary to get me to try a new garden center, but a year guarantee on the plants would make me a loyal customer.

I love to go to the greenhouse and dream about what I'd do to my yard if I could afford it. My absolute favorite is Cox's Plant Farm, in Coatesville, Indiana, the largest one in the state. They have about 10 acres of greenhouses, trees, landscaping materials, etc., and it's a family-run greenhouse.
I started gardening as an adult--we lived in heavy woods when I was a kid, so we didn't have much chance to garden. The one thing that would put me off is if I realized the owners were trying to steer me toward more expensive plants, not what I really wanted or needed. And if there were a commercial that would make me try a new one, it would probably show the greenhouses and the types of products they had, and the real staff members, not actors.

I go to the Garden Center for more and more plants.. and for the things to make my plants grow. My parents were gardeners, but not in the ornamental sense, they grew veggies and mostly from seed. They ordered from Burpee.
A rude, uncaring garden center employee selling crappy quality stuff would make me not want to return.
A commercial?? maybe. I might go look at a new GC if I didn't know one existed.
Lotsa questions.. but you're not cheating.

Strange query. I`m certainly one of your ancient farts, and I began liking gardening whilst I used to be round thirteen. Millions of folks love gardening, younger and ancient. If extra oldies than youngies revel in gardening, it's due to the fact that they prefer developing their possess natural and organic veggies, being out within the contemporary air, and getting recreation. I can`t see some thing flawed with that. Altho you don`t sound the form of man or woman to have an interest, within the UK for the period of WW2 - whilst Hitler embargoed our delivery - we ALL needed to develop matters to are living.
