The most important thing you can do is get rid of the clutter and it doesn't cost anything.

The posters everywhere look way too busy and cluttered. If you like them, keep them - but edit them. Put them in groupings rather than scattered about. (you have probably seen how groupings of framed photos or prints are clustered in twos, threes, etc,).

All of the bottles and lotions on the dresser - what about getting a caddy to put in the bathroom and only putting the one you might use before going to bed at night or use throughout the day in your room stashed in the nightstand. (or if you are like me you have 5 you don't use or are almost empty). Or if that is not possible, why not get a pretty decorative box to put near the mirror if that is what you use to beautify. Then, i would put the radio on top of the dresser.

I don't see a closet here but if there is one - just out of the picture i would invest in an additional closet rod to get some of the extra clothing out of sight. OR i would get a few rubbermaid tote bins to store out of season clothing.

Do these things, and then you can really see what you have to work with - come back with photos and start with a clean slate. With storage needs out of the way, you can then get creative.

Hello, You could add a really pretty new paint color and go to a local Salvation Army or Goodwill store to find some curtains, pillows and pictures unless you can sew or create your own art. A really nice framed poster would not cost much, nor do window shades or blinds. You can also dye curtains and bedspreads if you choose this route. You can also finds some nice beds in a bag online for clearance prices, if you like to shop clearance. Pretty pillows can turn an old bedspread into something more exciting! You could also paint you bedroom furniture! Good luck.

I found an Indian Sari at a thrift store and draped it over the top of my curtain rod. You could scope out the local second hand store looking for something similar or go to a fabric store, look for a fabric that catches your eye (make sure the fabric isn't stiff....use something slinky) and turn it into your curtains just by draping it. Long on both sides and wrapped very loosely around the top. Get 5-7 yards by the look of your window. You can easily do this for under $100. Any money left over, look for a funky lamp (or just the lampshade). Have fun with it. Be Creative.

1] get rid of all clutter! Sort out all clothing, books, toys, etc. Donate it, give it away, or throw it away. Be ruthless.
2] take down all posters, and keep only ones you really like.
Group together by subject - celebs, nature, etc.
3] buy bedding and window curtains or blinds at same time. Throw pillows to match too.
4] paint walls your favorite color from the bedding.
LATER..... [ you said $100, so when you get more money - ]
5] floor rug in darkest color from carpet
6] more dresser space!
7] a desk! and a desk chair!
8] reading chair - either floor or wall color - throw pillows on it.
9] collect quilts, afghans, in room colors; art - paintings, posters, in room colors; and a floral wreath made of eucalyptus or grapevine with flowers in room colors.

Organize your things. Change the window treatment and the bedspread. Take down the posters or at least frame and group them. Paint is inexpensive.

move the bed, get new covers for the bed, get pictures for the wall (paintings), or make your own paintings to put on the wall, get new cabinets (when more money is available) or paint them, put some plants in the room, candles, tidy up everything more, change the place for boombox and makeup, if you want to keep the posters, put them in neater positions. everything seems a little jumbled up, so i think your room needs to have specific things in specific places. put your bears in a corner, posters in one area, bed in another area, etc..

i think of you may desire to p.c.. 2 or 3 colours that look incredibly stable together and bypass from there. working example my room is purple black and white. I also have a black mattress with purple mattress spreed, a purple textile cabinet and night stand, and a white computer table. then I also have a black rug on the florr with white carpet and white partitions. I even have black blinds and purple curtains to verify. yet bypass with colours you like and greater healthy your character.i think of the sea eco-friendly could be lovable. then possibly you will be able to desire to get a tourquoris and white stripped mattress spreed after which you will be able to desire to upload some purple in there too that suits. possibly in the experience that your can paint your textile cabinet and mattress to verify your subject. after which you will be able to desire to get some photograph frames and get some white cabinets and hold close them the two on your wall. bypass with issues you like. wish I helped. Im kinda re-adorning my room too.

first you need to decide if you want bright colors or stay neutral. you can add a new window treatment and bedding set. maybe add a wall border and a few area rugs to contrast.
