Saw and liked the Jenn-Aire 5 head burner double oven, but it requries a 220v hook up. Any suggestion for a similar that would not require 220 hook up?

I have done DIY projects in the past (hanging drywall, gutting and replacing a kitchen, etc.) Is building a deck hard? Thinking about putting a 12 x 20 deck off of the back of the house, attached w/ lags, etc. Any advice?

I just moved into my basement for more privacy, its bigger nicer than my old room but theres one problem. The "cat closet" is down here and even though its only opened a crack it reeks of cat litter!

I've used Yankee Candle plug ins .. 2 of them and they worked great for about 2 weeks .. theres still fluid left but they dont smell anymore.

I've use Glade Light show with the scented oil and that works for the same amount if time as well.

I light candles but they do nothing down here.

Does anyone know of a really strong fragrance thing that I can use. I cant take it anymore!!

my friend calls it a mules tail . It looks like a rainfall hanging down the pot, its green & has lil pods sort of reminds u of bananas, only very miniature. to grow your own all u do is take a small banana off and lay it on the dirt ,, it grows pods in no time at all like 2 days.

I just bought a new light fixture. The building I live in was built 6 years ago...so, all the wiring is modern.
My husband is going to try and connect this thing. We have instructions and I am cutting off all the electricity at the fuse box.
Is there anything else I need to be concerned about? Is this dangerous even after turning everything off at the fuse box? If you were for some reason to get the wires wrong...what would happen?
Thanks!

when i replaced the vynil in the bathroom the CHEAP flooring came up also and had to replace with 1/4" plywood. I would prefer not to have to do that in the kitchen. So if the old vynil is cleaned real good with something TSP would the NEW go on the old without to much difficulty?

I have a wasp (yellow jacket) nest underground at the base of my hydrangea bush. I don't want to kill the bush, but what can I use to kill the nest? I can't garden there due to the wasps. I can see the hole, right by the base of the bush. Even if I ignore them, will the re use the nest next year or is that not likely to happen? I don't want to use anything that may kill the root system of my bush.

I am growing mint and basil on my window sill and they have grown white flowers at the tips. Is this a problem? Will it effect the quality of the herbs? Should I cut them off or can I just continue harvesting the herbs as usual.

I also have curtains that look like they belong in a funeral home but they are perfectly serviceable. Should I let my new puppy chew them up so I can buy a new set of curtains without feeling like a shopping freak, you know, changing my furnishings all the time just because I can? Thanks

I am considering purchasing an 8ft inflatable swimming pool (designed for adults every in the UK seems to sell them) but i remember when i was a child my parents lawn always used to end up yellow and dead, is there any way i can stop this form happening with the pool? I don't think moving it around is feasable as they are quite big, i was guessing maybe you could buy some sort of matt that will allow the grass to breath? but then i guess it still needs light. who knows? any ideas?
