I have a Magic Chef dishwasher. The model number is DU2J. I believe that it was built around 1999.

It leaks in the front. It does not seem to leak anywhere else. My plumber said that the dishwasher is level and believed that it needs a seal on the door.

The dishwasher washes beautifully. The exception--the leaking in the front.

The appliance man says that the seal is just fine. He tested the dishwasher for a few minutes and it did not leak. He said that I was using the wrong dishwasher detergent.

Well, I bought Cascade 2 in 1 Action pads. He suggested them and said that the machine should work fine.

Well, it is still leaking. Any suggestions

WANTING TO GO FROM: “PACK RAT” TO “LESS IS MORE”
What is easier, faster, more practical, smarter and why?

I want to make sure my move is as smooth as a babies butt. To help me in moving, packing, organizing, storage, clutter, etc., I am looking for:

Suggestions
Ideas
Tips (packing, moving, cardboard vs. plastic)
Recommendations
Advice
Insight
Hindsight
Set up (utilities, unpacking, packing)
Organizing (papers in binders vs. file cabinets, color coding boxes vs. labeling boxes)
Lists

SOME CONCERNS I HAVE ARE:

How do I pack big bulky items (lamps, plants, etc.)?
What do I use to cover or keep items clean and dust free while moving and while in storage?
Filing important papers (binders vs. file cabinet, file by year, topic, etc.).
What papers should I keep forever?
What should I throw away? After how long? How long should I hold onto it?
Moving different rooms, items, etc.
How do I know when it’s time to let go?
What should I get rid of?
What should

I planted flowers last year and they bloomed early in Feb. It was unseasonably warm here. Then a late frost came and they died. They never came back. They are supposed to be annual flowers, but I am afraid I will not have flowers again next summer. Can I plant more/different flowers in the same place?

Any other advice? We could put tile over the concrete later or get more expensive stamped concrete. What has your experience taught you? Which is easiest to maintain? How much rebarb should concrete have in it so it doesn't crack (I live in California - temperate climate.)

Sorry for the gross question but I go to the gym every morning and my clothes have to sit in the car until the end of the day. Of course I air them out when I get home but they still smell terrible. Should I rinse them out right after exercising? What can I do?

My buddy and I got this pop machine and we want to use it for an extra beverage cooler in the garage, but there is something wrong with it.

Here's what does work:
The buttons make the mechanism in the door trip
The chutes can be activated by pushing down the spring inside the machine.
The refrigeration unit works fine.

So the problem lies between the common switch in the door that the buttons activate and the actual chute release modules.

Any idea what I can try? Anyone with expertise that can IM with me to give me ideas.

I'm handy, I just don't know much about these machines.

Any suggestions of something to look at would be helpful.

Thanks!

My A/C unit outside has dampness around it. I live in the South where summer temperatures approach 100 almost daily. I had the unit "serviced" in May by someone, who works as the maitenance person for an apartment complex. He is also the person who installed this unit two summers ago.
The unit is cooling fine, but all of this dampness concerns me....is this normal or is something leaking that I should look into. When he serviced the unit, he said it was 2lbs. low on freeon(spelling?), I thought this was strange for a new unit? Is it?
