bleach was spattered on off white carpet...

you cannot do this I m afraid that this carpet is ruined . good luck .

Bleach has taken the color out, so you have to put color back in. I would try a very weak orange pekoe tea, brew it, pour it on the area and hope it will stain the carpet. You might try soaking a man's white hankercheif to see how dark the tea will stain before applying to your floor.

I used oxyclean on ours, and it left white spots, and what we did, is cut out the spot, and cut out another spot the same size (in a corner, closet, somewhere nobody will see...) and make that piece fit snugly into the other hole, glue it to the pad (we used liquid nails). make sure you brush it with a scrubber brush for a few days to get the fibers mixing with the other ones, and with the people walking on it, it will soon look like there was never a stain there.
