I am going to replace my carpet with tile; and the molding boards will need to be cut to allow the tile to slide underneath. I have a curved wall; and I am afraid to remove the molding board for fear that it will break it. Besides it will not be easy to cut it even if it were off. Is there a tool that will allow me to cut my molding boards without taking them off? The critial issue is that I want a nice clean straight and level cut. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Mine put on a beautiful pink show in May and June and now are not blooming and are getting leggy. They are about 5ft tall and 5ft wide. Or do you prune them at all?

In the Tampa Bay area 2 young boys are dead and their mother is sick from carbon monoxide poisoning. Only a couple of weeks later anouther family almost died and was only saved because one youngster wanted water during the night and woke his parents. All this because two different people left their cars running in the garage by mistake overnight. How the *$^#*% do you leave your car running by mistake??!! How absent minded can people be? I realize this is just a rhetorical question but it's so hard to hear about children dying so stupidly. Turning the key off after puttig the car in park is second nature to me - like breathing. What is wrong with these people?

A bag of garbage was causing a HUGE fly problem for me, and I missed garbage pick-up day, and I would have had to wait another 5 days for the next pick up. Now I'm not joking around. I wake up in the morning and I'll have 8 or 9 flies to kill. One hour later there is 4 more, and so on and so on. I couldn't believe how many there was and how quickly they showed up. I am assuming it was from my bag of garbage, that has flies sitting all over it constantly. Anyway, I bought some garbage tags, put them on the garbage, and disposed of the garbage in a school's dumpster near my house. Can I get into trouble if someone saw me do this? Even if I meant well and still bought garbage tags?

We have a single-family house with a walk-out flat roof (there's actually a sliding glass door). It has no railing, the roof is currently tar-covered (with some kind of silver patches). I'm getting it ready to sell, and we're considering changing it into a deck. Someone suggested I just paint the roof white and attach a white wrought-iron railing. Is this a good idea? or is there a better way to do this without spending a lot of money?

Is there such thing as too much condensation for the A/C unit. The condensate drain from the unit in the basement started leaking and I have been collecting the condensate in a bucket. I feel like there is too much. I get like 5 gallons or more a day. This seems alot to me. I wonder if this is a sign of a problem with the unit. I thought the evaporation of the condensation across the coil was what created the cooling and worry if the condensation is an issue. I live in NJ and it has been humid but we always seen to get alot of condensation.

Any suggestions?

I have dug a hole around them but they won't pull out. The soil a few feet down is very sticky. I plan to put the fence back a few feet so don't want to damage them. I was thinking of a pick to leverage them out. Any ideas?

We used a disposable barbecue and forgot to extinguish it in the proper time. It seems to have scorched the stone below it. It is a gray stone and now there is a brown spot/circle. Part of it is darker than other parts. We are housesitting so we are particularly concerned. Anyway to remove it? Or at least diminish it?

I'm really in the gardening mood for next year, and I'm planning everything now, so everything will look great. I have a fence by some cedars that is about 60 metres long, and behind it is a nice view of an old barn. This is what I'm going to plant as a border, I'm am going to plant 4 perannuals, Pink Fireweed ( http://www.bcadventure.com/adventure/wilderness/wildflowers/fireweed.htm ) White Soapwort, ( http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/s/soawor61.html ) Blue and Purple Lupins ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mainelupin.jpg ) and Orange Lilies ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:HemerocallisFulva1UME.jpg ) They are all wild in my area except for lupins. Does this sound good? Do you think it would look nice? I calculated it out and i need about 65 fireweed, 70 lillies, 40 soapwort and about 40 lupins.
