White would pop spectacularly, and look crisp with the wood floors.

Black would look dark and sophisticated.

Grey would look less dark and sophisticated, more city and modern.

Pink would look horrid, I think.

Purple. Hot.

Turquoise. Unexpected but hot.

Brown? No.

Depends on your personal style of course! A toile print in red with white and black accessories is neat. If you are more contemporary, consider a solid or print in red/black/with hints of golden beige. Country? Do a quilt with red, accent with neutrals to complement the wood floors. Painting walls red is a challenge--it often takes 5 or 6 coats to get an even, lustrous finish, but if you stick with it, the results can be amazing!

Something that includes red but also has other colors. For example, white and red, or black, white, and red, or yellow, white, and red, or yellow, black, and red. Also, depending on the shade of red, orange-ish colors or purplish colors, but include some white as well. I have red walls in my kitchen, but they are kind of orange-ish red, so I have a tablecloth that is red and yellow. In another room, I have a purplish red, and the colors that go well with that are blue, pink, and purple.

Suggest you buy the bedding first - it's much easier to match the paint to the bedding, than bedding to paint!
Get the curtains and throw pillows at the same time.

White would look very nice. I think you should go with a white bedding with maybe little flower prints on it, that would be cute.
