I bought the plant last year at a farm store and it never really grew. I thought it went dead and when I walked out back today was pleased to see it is starting up the trellis and is about 1 1/4 ft tall. Its a red one which personally I have seen purple and pink, but never a red clematis. What is the best way to care for this little vine popping up? Should I put some fertilizer on it and what kind? I read somewhere that clematis loves soil which has had lime put on it. I could be wrong though. What can I do to make it grow or should I just leave it alone and be careful not to mow over it and look again in a month or so? Do they like water?

We are replacing drop in range with free standing and have to remove the cabinet box below. It is too tight for a jigsaw or circular saw. Will a sawzall cut it smooth enough? Will we be able to do it ourselves or should we have a cabinet maker do it???
Thanks

Our house is only 5 months old, and I just removed a huge (and disgusting) hair and mold clog from the shower drain. The drain is in the center of the shower floor. The shower floor pan is heavily textured, so a sunction-cup type drain cover would not stick. Any ideas to help prevent these huge hair clogs? I really don't want to be cleaning this out 2-3 times every year for the next 30 years we plan to live here. Thanks!

I have a frigidaire 2.1v 12,000 BTU thru-the-wall a/c. The smell is not there on the cool setting, but when the fan setting kicks in it smells very bad, like a chemical smell. A repairman came and said it's not freon, it must be mold & mildew and took it for cleaning. He brought it back and it still has the bad smell. The smell is like a chemical or paint smell, something weird. What should I do please help

I have a decent size spathiphyllum. I water and fertilize (nitrogen based liquid fertilizer) regularly and it generally looks happy, but I can't remember the last time it produced a flower.

Anything I can do to encourage it? Should I be worried?

Thanks for your input.

I have a small round metal patio table that I would like to do a small mossaic on the table top to put on my balcony. Since I have never tackled anything like this before what materials will I need to do this? Where can I go to get there materials? I don't want to spend a lot on doing this, we have only one real craft store in the city and that is Michaels. I haven't had a chance to go there and look considering I do not know what I am looking for.
