1) On the outside of the window glass, there is a pin size hole.
2) On the inside, the very very small piece of broken off glass has a diameter of 1/4 inch.
3) If I cannot "glue" it back, can I use a "glass filler"? Is there such a thing as "glass filler" (as in wood filler) ?

I was replacing the p-trap under my bathroom sink, and when I removed the nut attached to the wall pipe, it broke off some of the external threading. Now I am unable to screw in my new p-trap. Is there a way to fix this without a plummer. Also there is not enough room to use a rubber coupler I already tried that.

I dug them up today because they were in random places. And no blooms anymore. I was going to replant them but did not get my flower garden completely tilled. Will they be ok for a day or two?

Okay, tonight my mom told me that the house didn't seem to be as cool as it was, apparently compared to even last night. We have the central heating/air vents in each room...and the heat pump setup for heat and air. The air doesn't seem as cold as normal, that's for sure. And I'm not completely sure yet (it's too late to check it now, so we just cut it off for the night), but I don't remember hearing the heat pump part outside come on. It certainly didn't seem to be on earlier when the somewhat cool air was blowing. We have some more machine stuff installed in the basement...which is the other half of the heat pump system, of course. That comes on, and that has to be what is blowing the somewhat cool air. I know the typing pat answer to this question: "Have someone come look at it". And we will. But surely someone out there has some suggestion as to what it could be.

Hi,
I'm living in a new house, but one thing which bothers me is the showers - the amount of water is incredibly small, as is the force with which it is sprayed out. I've tried changing shower heads, which worked a little bit, but the problem remains. Is there some plumbing I can fiddle around with to fix this?

Thanks a lot!

I used a new bath skin softening product in my whirlpool tub that is supposed to be safe for those tubs. It left a horrible sticky residue in the tub that I can't get out. The tub instructions say only to use Dawn or **** N Span to clean the tub with. Neither of these worked and I aso tried vinegar, which didn't work either. The tub has a glossy finish so it will scratch. Anyone have any recommendations for a cleaning product that will work and not scratch the tub?

And, please, no crazy stunts that will burn up the house or leave the raccoons to die and rot in our attic. They've eaten two different holes in our eaves, for exits. We've tried an exterminator; caught one, other two were a little smarter. Now, of course, there are more. Tried blasting blaring rock music in the attic for several days; apparently they're big AC/DC fans. No luck. Have smoke bombs, for underground use, but hesitate to use them in attic around insulation for fear of setting the house ablaze. Have a trap, but so far have only caught the neighbor's cat. Hoping for a solution to get them to leave on their own, so the holes can be boarded up without them in the attic to die and rot.

I'm going to be a senior in college next year, and I'm moving into a smallish studio apartment off-campus. I don't have a lot of money (starving college student), so I'm looking for less expensive items (preferably used so it won't be so bad if they get stains or something). Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should look for good deals on furniture, especially beds and matresses? (My twin-sized bed at home is too small to use when my boyfriend comes to visit, so I need to find a bigger one)
Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.
