I have a broken faucet in my bathroom tub and it requires me to turn of the hot water after every use. I found out last night that it is leaking under the wall and my carpet is getting soaked. They refuse to fix until Monday because that is when the new maintenance starts. Do I have the right to withhold my rent until the problem is fixed? This is a serious issue please respond accordingly thanks

I have 2 pots with snapdragons and some planted in the ground. They get plenty of sunlight (all of my other blooming flowers: petunias, pansies, etc.) are blooming wonderfully. However, my snapdragons in one pot have a one or two blooms every 3 weeks or so and the others have not bloomed at all, yet they are growing quite well otherwise. Any advise?

I've tried to grab as much gum as I could with my fingers, yet I couldn't remove the whole thing. There are still some thin layers of gum on my clothes and they are very, very sticky, plus annoying!!! Somebody helps me, please!!

I have a clivea that hasn't flowered for years - It's over 20 years old. It's been re-potted and given fertiliser, but still remains green, how do I encourage it to bloom?

some really strange vibrations in my plumbing. I don't know if it's just me, like the pressure regulator's about to blow or something, or if it's more widespread. I'd ask my neighbors but they're not the friendly type. As much as anything else, it sounds exactly like a flying saucer from an old '50's sci-fi movie, and makes me think of the Art Bell Show and some kind of underground machinery. I'm thinking it's from construction somewhere, tho it happens at any hour of the day or night....

One loose roof tile problem

Tile roof problem. One tile has moved downwards and now looks like it might fall off. I have heard that if I climb inside the roof I might be able to move it up into position again from underneath. However there is a protective material black insulating the roof . Can I cut through that to get access to the loose roof tile? Any idea or tips. Thanks

What is best to use on large weeds that have taken over a back garden like a jungle.
They are very thick and I want to kill them off (there is no grass underneath..no sun gets to the ground)
I had a go with roundup ages ago but it didn't seem to do anything...any ideas????

The slab can vary in depth from -1inch to 0inch over a 10 foot range.

we tried self leveling concrete. some parts of our initial pour, when we just learning did not turn out so well. now there are small areas that are as much as +.75inches.

Can we shave/grind the high spots down. Do you recommend that we grind these spots down before installing the flooring?

I think I am seriously overpaying.

Need to know this:

1. how many maids?
2. sqft of your house?
3. how often?
4. how many hours does it take?
5. what state do you live?

Do they do windows? - Just kidding!

My kitchen has a 'Diplomat' electric oven fitted. The internal glass panel exploded into many pieces. Has anyone else experienced this, if so did you get any help from the manufacturer?

I well familiar with wood. I know what soft would do. I am aware of the scratches and dents it may more easily recieve. I think I might like the character but, I just wanted to know if anybody has done it or seen it.

Cockroaches return to the battery operated transitor ratio and climb inside and congregate. I assume they are nesting. Why would they even be attracted to a radio and is there a successful method to deter them (other than professional chemical concoctions). Thanks!
