I have a clivea that hasn't flowered for years - It's over 20 years old. It's been re-potted and given fertiliser, but still remains green, how do I encourage it to bloom?

Don't be too kind to the clivia if you want it to flower.
Too much fertilizer will make it put all the effort into growth and nothing into flowering. They actually prefer poor, sandy soil and dryer conditions, and do well in the semi shade as well. My mum grows them under trees (poor dry soil) doesn't give them anything and they flower year after year. So try some tough love and see how it goes.
