I have a small backyard and I live in a townhouse. I want to remove the grass from half of my backyard and lay patio stones. I am debating whether to do this myself or hire someone. My main worry is drainage - flooding my basement if I do it wrong.
Do I just remove the grass and lay the stones down? What are the steps? Not too difficult please.

I've heard this called many things but I still don't understand where I pinch them off at. I'm just starting to really try my hand at flower gardening and realize there's a lot more to it than I thought.

Thank you for your help!!!

I am into doing it for myself as much as I can, would you help me fix my house up? What might be the first suggestion that you would give me if I wanted to make it feel warm and comfortable to you?

Hello, just bought "ready to pick pepper" plant from Dobbies, and was looking for advice on when to actually pick them? I have one red pepper on the plant and 3 green. I presume the red one is ripe? and the green one is in its early stages? the red pepper is approx 2 inches in length?? can i leave it to grow longer or is it just a small type of peeper that will grow on plant. The label i have states "harvest" from may to october. Please can anyone provide any more information and also suggest a type of pepper plant i can grow that will produce much bigger peppers? Many thanks...
