We are renovating my husbands grandmothers home, it is totally getting gutted, with new dry wall and etc. What is the best way to pick out colors and get them to coordinate with the furniture, carpet and so on? I am not the best when it comes to this part. I don't want to hire anyone to do this for me....

I have just brought a new bed set of 400TC 100% cotton sheets. I put them through the washer and dryer (just as the instructions said) and they came out all wrinkly.

Is this a trait of cotton linen? Am I going to have to IRON my sheets everytime I wash them?! - or is there a trick I can use to help prevent all these wrinkles.

Thankyou in advance!

Does anyone know of a website where they show how to fold bath towels in decorative ways. I don't know if anyone understands what I mean but I have seen a lot of bathrooms (while house hunting that's why I don't ask how they did it) that have towel racks with towels rolled in and others with towels kind of folded half ways making like a flower shape on the top and use it to hold toilet paper and other decorated in baskets. If any one has ideas or pictures maybe website please post

new property. They are heavy metal and about 2' x 3'. I'm not sure what to do with them. I don't want to just put them in the landfill. The recycler will not take them because they are plastic-coated.

I want to build a deck with curved stairs leading from a upper deck to a lower deck. The deck itself will be about 16 feet wide and the I envision the center of the stairs being 2 or 3 feet further out than the ends of the stairs, giving a radius of roughly 8.5 feet to the circle inscribed by each tread.

Is it possible to bend the wood across its width? If so, how? Or do I need to simply lay the boards parallel to the deck and then trim the ends?

My computer keyboard is infested with these small red ants which eat off everything. These are after the rubber bushes under the keys. I have faced the problem in the past and after I opened up the keyboard, popped every other key off and manually got rid of the ants many times, they seemed to stop. Now that the problem has resurfaced, I need to know if I can do something to get rid of them for good, from my keyboard.

I want to get a new toilet and wondered if there was a standard distance from the wall for all toilets, or is the plumbing unique for each one. In other words can I take one out and put another in it's place without plumbing issues?

We are thinking about purchasing a turn of the century house in my hometown, but just found out that the wood siding was probably coated with creosote. This was used as a wood preservative at one time. Is there any way to get rid of this chemical or should we steer clear of this house?
