No, silver and gold don't have any iron so a magnet received't paintings. Are the ducts in between the floor and ceiling below? Does the duct bypass instantly all the way down to the basement? i'd bypass to a house progression keep [ Lowe's, homestead Depot ] and ask the older men there. they have been requested all kinds of questions! Yes. Cut it open with a metal cuttoff wheel. Make sure the cuts are straight. Only cut 3 sides of a square and bend it down. Get your necklace. Push the flap back up and weld it or use metal tape. Its a metal version of duct tape and its sold at any big hardware store.

You may have to replace the pipe. Duct tape (hence the name) was originally invented to seal ducts but a large cut in the vent may be too big for duct tape.

First thing I would try is finding a joint near where you think the bracelet would be. Should be screws and tape around the joint. Remove the tape and screws and seperate the joint. This will be better than cutting the duct.

Yes Just find the first turn from where it dropped and get it out. You should use Metal tape to reseal it. HVAC tape.
