I bought some boric acid not long ago in a drug store -- Long's Drugs. It was on the aisle with eyedrops and other eye medications. That's because a common use of boric acid is for eyewash solutions. But I used it to prepare a solution that gets rid of argentine ants.

Boric acid is used as a roach killer, You can find it in any pharmacy or grocery store. This is not pharmaceutical grade. So only use as indicated on the label.

I don't know about in your area, but I would assume it would be the same there. We used to buy it our local pharmacy. I think most any pharmacy would carry it.
