I'd clean out the loft - sell all your old junk on eBay and use the cash to pay someone to clean the rest of the house!

How about starting with your bedroom and then you'll have somewhere lovely and clean and relaxing at the end of cleaning all other rooms? You could open the windows and get some fresh air in, go through your wardrobe and sort out clothes you don't wear anymore and perhaps swap over winter and spring/summer clothes so stuff you're going to be wearing will be ready for you. Move the bed and any other furniture to clean behind and under it. Change the bedding. Get some loud music on - enjoy!

I always start in the kitchen I love a spotless kitchen, then to the hall, office and downstairs loo, I do all the skirting boards doors, windows everything with one of my disinfectant bleach mixtures then I work my way up, hoovering I leave to my boyfriend as its a three storey house and there are lots of stairs I do the en-suite last because I hate it, its the smallest room but takes the longest.

the general rule for spring cleaning is - start at the top-
start with a room at the top of house - usually a bed or bathroom.
remove all removables and set aside to wash or soak
start cleaning at ceiling/light fittings, walls, windows.floors
finally any furniture that is left in room
replace all to clean removables
by the time you've finished that lot you'll be an experienced spring cleaner in need of a glass of your tipple before continuing with the next room tomorrow
best of luck

The bedroom always i use it as a safe haven. there is something both relaxing and comforting about being in a clean tidy bedroom with fresh linen on the bed. When i need to think or plan something i always seem to end up in the bedroom relaxing on the bed as i work things out. Save the kitchen and bathrooms for last as they never stay clean long enough to notice.

start with bedrooms, living room, den etc. then save kitchen and bath for last and do them on the same day.
remember to organize each room as you clean it,do this by making three piles.1-stuff untouched for a year(this means you do not need it) 2-stuff that does not belong in that room.3-stuff to be thrown out.
take the stuff from pile one and either throw it away, give it to charity or take it to a consignment shop/have a garage sale.
happy cleaning!

When I clean my house I always start at one end and work my way to the other. I always save the kitchen for last though because that's where I always end up piling stuff to be put away. Good luck!

If l was you l would start with the biggest then work my way to the smallest because it make you do the had stuff first and then you can do the easy bed rooms and then you are done and you don't have to do anything else.
Hope you get the job done.

I always start from the kitchen-->lounge-->dining room-->hoover stairs-->bathroom-->then do the bedrooms...Then mop all the hard floors once I 've hoovered everywhere. God knows why I bother because it gets trashed within a couple of hours :o(

Choose one at the top of the house and work your way down, sending any negative energy down and out of your home.
Very feng shui!
It doesn't really matter which one you do first, when you have finished them all the first one will need doing again.
