I washed all the windows, cleaned the bathroom, brushed the dog and vacuumed the entire apartment. Do I have to wash the dishes, or will it be enough just to wash the pans necessary for cooking dinner? ;D

There's some sticky stuff and other little things stuck apparently under my sliding door that now makes it VERY difficult to open and close my sliding glass door...I pretty much need to lift it and move it step by step, rather than a smooth motion. How can I cure this problem? Thanks :)

I want to replace my 12000Btu Sharp window AC with a new 10.8 EER one having the same BTUs. The old one has a strong blower which made it great for reaching down into our family room 5 steps below and 35 feet away from the dining room where the unit is installed. the old unit was rated 278 PSIG at high. The new unit is about 280 CFM.

I would like to paint the siding but it's not feasible at this time.
I just can't figure out what colors would coordinate with the yukky light green.

It's leaning on its side in the yard and I was amazed to see it was still alive. There are some roots still in the ground but a lot are above ground. Is this something I can save?

I want to buy some flagstones for a pattio/walkway in my garden. I'm going to put some irish moss inbetween the stones after I lay them out. But they dont really come in any colors Iike. Is there any type of paint I could use to paint flagstones? Perhaps if I put a clear coat finish over it after I was done?

It will be cut with a circular saw and then painted. I was concerned about splintering. It will only hold towels in the bathroom attatched to wall studs

I have seen many more green sets of Hitchcock furniture on line. I have 4 chairs and a bench that are black. I am planning on selling them, but have nothing to compare them with.

I bought it awhile ago and put it away. Now that I decide to use it it doesn't work so its too late to take it back for exchange. Any thoughts on how to fix the can or nozzle. It shouldn't be clogged because it was never used.

Our hot water comes off the heating system. We had it set to the recomended temp of 120 degrees. We would get hot water from the sinks, but not the shower. We have now set the water temp to 200 degrees in order to get the water hot enough at the shower, but now it scalds at the sinks.
I was told it was the valve on the shower. The water selector says "Symmons model B temptrol" and is a single control valve.
Is that faulty? Can we replace it ourselves? We have an access panel behind the shower, so it's easy to get to. We have no real plumbing experience, but my boyfriend is a mechanic, so he can figure out most home projects.

I received the American flag that was draped over my grandfather's casket. I had never gotten around to buying a case for it, just displayed it out in the open on top of my bookshelf, properly folded and all, right underneath my living-room window.

Last week, there was a heavy rainstorm that caused the seal around my living-room window to spring a leak, and water came in, getting the flag dirty and soaking wet.

On one hand, I believe the formal flag codes require me to destroy the flag once it gets dirty and/or wet, but ... this is my grandfather's flag, which is a big deal in my family. If I can, I'd like to clean it rather than replace it.

Any suggestions?
