i want to cut some roses from rose bush to display in my house. where do i cut on the stem?

Cut up about 1 or 2 "knuckles" from the base of the rose stem if possible. That will give new shoots a place to come out from.

Just above a joint. Take them in the house and then snip them to the length you want, but do it underwater in the sink. Then place in a vase with water. good luck.

Cut diagonally just below a thorn.
