Yes they can and have. We left some screened windows open and left for the day came back and found out they chewed a hole in the screen and nibbled some bread, then left the same way they came in.

Yes they can chew through anything, other than the obvious like steel and concrete, that they can bite. If a screen is flat, I would think it would be hard to bite the screening itself. The frame is another matter.

Squirrels will make you crazy. They can do all types of things that you think they can't. Yeah, they can chew through all kinds of stuff. good luck

i seen a aluminum soffit chewed through then they got to the electrical wire they ate the insulation off
