need help to start a dynamark lawn mower?

had put in a new battery

You don't provide much information. Does the engine turn over and not start, does it not turn over? There are several things that will prevent it from starting but we need more information.

One of the main things people overlook on a lawnmower is the spark plug. Have you replaced it lately?
