Hi, Do me a favor, and go to , "www. Ortho . com" . They will want to know things about what kinds of grass do you have ,and exactley what is the name of the product your using. I tried to get a quick answer for you, but couldn't answer the things you need to. I know my heart broke into when my little Piggy died, and would never chance anything happening to someone elses pet. So, go to their page, and lets get it right the first time, as there is no room for errors in this case. Bye

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
that is so wrong!
You need an organic lawn before you expose those poor creatures to the grass.
There are organic systems available, at REALLY reputable garden centers...(HOME DEPOT) is NOT a reputable garden center.
Or just go on line and start typing in words, like organic lawn, and see what you get.
I use Scotts 4 step on my front lawn because no animals go there, but in the back, I build the soil organically, use only B.T.'s for grubs, and, lots of lime and gypsum for the doggy left overs! My STANDARDS are also not as High for my back lawn as for my front. I love the dogs more than a pristine back yard, so that is also food for thought!
