today when i went into my garage to get the vacume cleaner, i pulled it away and behind it was a web of loads of little spiders. well, they looked like spiders... there must be at least 100 little tiny ones all on one web. when i told my dad, he said that when he was a kid he went to pick what he thought was a pinecone from a tree. it turned out to be loads of these little spiders, and they all crawled up his arm. we have put most of them in the garden because we don't want a huge population of spiders in our garage for obvious reasons. but i just want to know:

are they dangerous? what exactly are they? and how big is the mother is whats worrying me most lol.....

i live in the U.K. by the way

Don't know if this will help- I am a 24yo mom to a 4yo boy...

This is my apt...

Enter...
At the end of the hallway is the entry to the living room
at the right of the hallway is the kitchen entry
The kitchen has two entries...one of which leads to the living room as well.

All my walls in the entire apartment are white (so dull)
My entire floor is hardwood (except for the kitchen and bathroom..which are tiled)

I have a couch, pc and tv in the living room
A table of 4 in the kitchen as well as other kitchen appliances.

I am not into decorating or fashion like that. I need some simple, not too expensive, yet elegant ideas.
This is my 1st apartment and I am completely lost in how to set it up. Sometimes I feel I have too much space, so it's looks empty to me.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I have a small house and some things I can't seem to part with, and I don't have the cash to get things to store my things in. My house is becoming cluttered and just walking in the door and looking around the room makes me sick, but yet I don't want to part with my things!!

I don't know what I should do. I've thought about just going through the house with a trash bag and whiping everything off the tables and shelves into it without looking at it. I've wanted to do that for the past few weeks but can't seem to do it. It bothers me to have so much junk, but it bothers me more to through it away.

My kids are really good about keeping their toys and things in their own rooms, so they are a lot better at it than I am. I go through their toys with them about every 4 or 6 months to make room for the birthday and christmas toys to come, and they can through things away easily. My 4 year old got rid of about 60% of her toys one day, but I can't seem to let go of any of my 'nik-naks'!

My sister and I have a cleaning service and I would like to know How much you pay your cleaning service and what do they do ? How do you feel about cancels at the last minute. I just had a client cancel on us at the last minute and this is the second time in a row. I feel like getting a real job in the real world. Not that this isn't real work but it sure feels like we get clowned from some people who obviously do not take cleaning as serious as we do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I want to install a shale path in my front yard. I live in the Sierra Foothills in California. A friend is excavating to build a structure and came upon what we think is shale NOT SLATE. I love it's natural look so when she offered it to us for free I decided to design the front path with it. But I am concerned it won't be structurally strong enough to handle the very littel foot traffic it will ge weekly, and will therofre deteriorite too quickly. Can you advise. Thanks

how far will the roots grow? my garage is only 18ft away. I've read that these are small trees/shrubs and can be grown in pots, is that true?

This is my first experience with them. My neighbor has several and he never trims the canes. Each year, they leaf out and get gorgeous flowers. For this reason, I didn't trim my canes, but now the plant is leafing out quite a bit from the bottom and there is nothing on the canes at all. Should I trim those canes down now? I live in Chicago and we had an exceptionally cold winter this year, but right now, as I type this, I can see my neighbor's climbing roses beginning to leaf out on the their old canes! What should I do with mine?

Recently I needed help liquidating the contents of my parent's estate, so I called an auctioneer that my aunt recommended. On his first visit, he was very polite, looked at the things I was trying to sell and said that he gets 30% of the "take." The next time he came, he wasn't so nice. The first thing he announced was that he had forgotten to mention that besides the 30% there was a $200 "carrying charge. Then made me sign a contract. He just about ransacked the house. he upended the boxes I had so carefully packed of small household items. I thought to myself "He will pick the stuff up and put it back in the boxes." Well he didn't. He also damaged some things like when he decided to take the dining room set. The chairs had cushion in the seats. Instead of carefully untying them in the back, he just whipped out his pocket knife and cut the ties and threw the cushion in the corner. I was shocked. What should I have done? Nobody else was willing to take the stuff.

I have a 10 yr old townhouse and every time I turn the water on, there's this nocking noise coming out of one spot behind the wall. I'm guessing it's an air pocket in plumbing or something. It sure goes away after a while, but I 'd like to get rid of it. Is there a way to fix it all by yourself? What should I do?

My boys have alot of clothes that are mainly white but will have trim of color on them or just a colored picture on them. I put them with the whites (use bleach with whites to get out all the spit up stains) but it leaves spoted bleach marks I don't know what to do.

And now we are FED up with them. they are not shy to come and slither past our chairs when we are out in the nice weather. I'm guessing its a gartner snake.
