Most carpet retailers sub out the installation of the products they sell. This keeps their overhead lower. Make sure what is included in the installation and what warranties cover including any repairs that may be needed. Make the carpet company responsible for this work. Sub contractors have a way of disappearing or not being able to reach after a job.
